You have various point of view.

Some will say that buying Golds, and or buying PowerLeveling services is wrong / useless / a crime.
Some will say that it is ok / they dont care.
The first case are the people you will hear/read the most.

We will not discuss further the reasons that make people buy these services. Some just dont like to level up, or do not have the time; some other are just lazy people.

Well guess what, the market of Gold selling and PowerLeveling never worked so well.
That’s just a fact.

No, I am not telling you that it is a good thing. Neither do I tell you it is a bad thing. However I decided to review the main actors of this market.
Because like it or not, people use this stuff. And I am going to give them the results of my experience.

First of all, how does it work ? “Usually” :
You have several companies.. the most on the west of the world they are located, the bigger their share of your money when you buy service. Asian-located companies will provide workforce that they will sell to the western located ones that will then pump-up the price and sell to the customer. Of course, many asian companies are into both sides of the market. And surprisingly, they are the one who provide people with the best services.

I will start now to detail some companies, and the experience I had with them.
First of all : wowmine.com. They propose all games, but I tried with WOW. These ones, are the worse, seriously. (if you seek for even worse, you’ll fall into scam…). I decided to test them out, for the first time, in early February 2007. They were in the B.C frenzy (like many others), and of course never hesitated in using bots to get your character levelled. Even with bots, they managed to be slow, unpolite and unprofessional.
But what made this company the sickest of all is the “we are located in Canada” stuff. All right, so Wowmine is a “secure” company because they are located in Canada ? (which strongly remains to be proved) ->> joke of the year, seriously. I will not comment on their attemp to create a community around them, and not comment on their use of totally fake testimonies on their website (with random pictures of people they maybe found on google image ?) + the mirrors sites with another name they use to wipe their horrible bad reputation they are building. Fortunately enough, they are a copy/paste of the main website and you will not have a hard time recognizing them (MMOInn is an example).
Take this as a rule people : the more they claim to be close to you, the worse they are.
As for gold, they do the job.
I tested them out another time with a powerleveling on May and clearly saw the use of a bot.
Of course asking for a refund is going into lots of discussion through a live chat that will very often disconnect you when you are proving your points right.
The companies they work with in China are highly greedy and not honest companies for they will just put a bot (I dont think they try to even put a proxy) and cash your money in.

What is this bot thing ? Is China’s economy growing THAT fast they can’t afford to pay one leveller ??? Oh no wait, they are in Canada.. >.<
Anyway, concerning wowmine, I highly NOT recommend them. If you decide to, I am not responsible and it is at your own risks.

IGE.COM : Aahhah good ol’ IGE. These guys used to be THE company with gaming’s parallel economy. I still believe they make the bigs decisions on the market. Not sure however concerning the golds they are the most expensive final dot. Just not worth it. As for the powerleveling, they don’t even sell 1-60 packages anymore. However, they always have been extremely reliable and have a great reputation. I would say that their insanely high price is the result of their reliability (but they are not the only reliable company and many are extremely reliable and cheaper). They had the benefit of being one of the first if not the first firm to setup the basis of the market.
They grew even out of their sector since they used to be known as ZAM Networks/IGE, owner of allakhazam.com and thottbot.com (and now Wowhead.com).
ZAM Networks and IGE are now separated, thought, it is not extremely clear, and I could not write a statement like this and call it true. Just browse the net, you will find enough stuff about this concern.
Let’s get back to the subject… and get to our next company :

wowgoldshopping.com : All right so there we are entering the almost all home made feeling firm.
However they delivered me 10k WoW gold in less than 24hours for less than 150$. Yeah. Now I am just commenting what happens, not making advertising or anything. When it sucks I say it, when it doesnt I say it too. Everytime I used them, It was fine.
However their price seem to vary every freaking day and the bargain today can be not that great tomorrow. So just watch out.

ssegames.com : Same as above, reliable on the golds, did not try the powerleveling thought. Prices are like most of the market except they are using euro prices for euro servers (if you play in euro, you will then have a greater deal by buying in USD). Delivery in less than 24h.
I even saw a gold site using Sterling Pounds for euro servers ^^ They are not afraid of anything really ^^

peons4hire.com : Yeah these b*** spammers. But they actually are one of the most reliable company on the market. They are reliable on the golds AND on the powerleveling (amazing these days). However their powerleveling is like insanely expensive (above 200$ for a basic 1-60 plan). And dont hope for ingame reputation. But at least some real people will do the job.

offgamers.com : They used to be my favorites. Very pro, very reliable. Their Powerleveling used to be very neat (I used to PvP with the guy who levelled my char once). But last month I decided to test them out one last time, for I didnt want to give wrong infos in this note. And I had the great surprise to find a bot playing the character.

Of course whatever company it is, they will not admit they are botting. And I am not talking for only Offgamers! (most of the time they will tell you that “we ran a scan on our company’s computer infrastructure and no botting was detected” , “we are sorry” that “don’t worry sir” and that “an unexperienced player was playing the character but that the account will now be placed in the hands of an experienced players and focused on speeding things up for you”.
Which can be translated in : 1) haha fool the levelers are not even in the same country but yeah we did a remote scan.. from space.. from our company that is into space exactly (sir) 2) I know you want to hear that we are sorry so there we go 3) Don’t get mad anyway we all do that and we never get caught (and if you go mad just remember we have your login k) 4) Well ok so you busted us, we’ll just put some random guy for 20-30 mins to /dance in OG (but still next to the AH, what did you think…) so you can chill out and then we’ll put the bot back in tracks. Because we want MONEY. GngNGn.
If you really insist, survived all the disconnects from their live chat, CALLED THEM (you’re a true warrior, you!) (or maybe if you say you’ll take the plane to china?) they will crit you with the “please take a screenshot of the character botting sir.(please)”

Ouch.

So that is all for now. I may add / edit stuff in this small and humble review so come and check it out sometimes (if the guys I am talking about didnt DoSed the website to death lol ^^). Also please pardon all the grammar / other errors that you could have encountered for English is not my primary language. But I did my best for you to understand, and needed to speak of this.

The conclusion is quite simple and obvious : Do NOT buy PowerLeveling. It is just not worth it as far as I tested it. 90% of the time you will have a bot playing your char, if you payed less than 200 $, and will end up playing yourself. Or being banned.
As for the golds, at least for WoW, it became very easy to farm it in the burning crusade and you should give a try yourself. However, one can say that it is quite safe to buy wow golds even if it is not recommended.

I hope this helped somehow.
